Check it out!

What's the story?

SL's avid readers and commenters continue to share their opinions, with a bunch of them coming from stories regarding Steve Barker.

After a tough defeat against Amakhosi, not being able to keep a player called up for national duty and questions surrounding Stellies' attack, Barker has had a lot to say recently.

Here's how the fans responded to Barker's comments on three separate stories...

Barker felt aggrieved by the way his club was treated by SAFA compared to Kaizer Chiefs.

The Stellies boss revealed that his side was short of center-backs.

Oswin Andries not being able to return from national duty for the under-20 and was left frustrated when Chiefs players were allowed to return to the Eswatini-based camp after club duty and he wasn't able to bring back Andries.

The "Baker Cries Foul Of Chiefs Privilege After Loss?" story, fans their thoughts on Barker's complaints:

"But SAFA didn't force them to not get Andries back and I believe they had a right to say no to the request. He is pointing fingers at other people but himself. It's sound unprofessional," says Thabotouchme.

Another reader, Mpho1637 agreed with Thabo:

"I fully agree member, this madala is starting to sound like Gavin Hunt. Always blaming others and not looking at themselves for their poor decision making."

On the "Barker Reveals Grudge Against Chiefs After Three Penalties" story, Barker points out the inconsistency's with officials making decisions over penalties.

Here's what the fans had to say:

"Chiefs is always helped by referees, every game their opponents get red carded and penalty gets awarded to them. It's unfair. If you look the likes of Pirates, they never get awarded penalties, instead penalties are given against them freely," says Tshavhuyoh.

"I still don't understand the grievance of Baker, the penalty against Chiefs at the Danie Craven was not a penulty, and it was a good call from the linesman. However, all the three penalties against Stellies were legit, and 2 of them were caused by his captain, a whole captain caused the penalties and ended up with red card. Instead of him fixing the approach to his defense, he wastes his energy complaining about nothing," says Sibusisomani1.

"Coaches must fight for VAR to be implemented in SA as soon as possible," suggests Peloj.

The "Pirates Have Scored 6 Goals With The Arsenal That They Have" story, where Barker mentions that his defense is more of a worry than his attack at the moment, the trolls were quick to comment.

"Those goals equal to Caleb's goals alone," quipped Ajao Wa Lekhosi.

Regular commenter Shikabala, undervalued the strength of the Bucs' attack:

"They're only left with toy guns in their arsenal after letting go of Mhango and Mabasa."
