Let's take a closer at what the readers had to say...

After suffering their third league defeat in a row at the hands of a buoyant Cape Town City, Jose Riveiro's side are under pressure to improve their mediocre record in the DStv Premiership so far this season.

The Buccaneers are down in 8th place in the league, and Riveiro made a bold vow on the "Riveiro's Big Promise To Pirates!" story, where he mentions that he's optimistic that his side can pick up maximum points in the remaining 15 league fixtures.

Here's what our opinionated readers had to say on Riveiro's comments:

"In your dreams guitar man, this is Mzansi not Finland," says michaelkhohomela.

"Coach you are putting yourself between a rock and a hard surface," says michaelyilo.

"The coach need to play more ball players like Mabena, Ndlondlo Peprah," says sidumo.nkonyane

"Without taking anything away from you coach, the scoring ratio is so poor that I dont see the team even qualifying for the top 8 if you don't come out with new tactics to improve the poor scoring ratiio. Apply a more offensive approach in your remaining games," says benjmwaru3796.

"Coach please wake up, you might be having a very bad dream. Even a child can see that this team is too heavy for you...please just do the thing... set a meeting with Dr. Khoza... and tell him in Zulu...'AYINGANGAMI' meaning it's too heavy for you," says tibomax0.

Chiefs on the other hand are better placed for a CAF Champions League birth next season, but squandered the chance to move second behind runaway leaders Mamelodi Sundowns in a narrow 1-0 defeat to Sekhukhune United.

Arthur Zwane recognised the missed opportunity on the "Zwane's Promise To Chiefs Fans After Sekhukhune Loss" story, Zwane assured supporters that his troops won't miss another big opportunity again this season.

Here's what our readers had to say to that:

"Maybe I was watching the wrong game, but I do not agree that the team played well. The amount of possession conceded was simply shocking. They could hardly string a few passes together, especially in the first half. School boy errors is how you would characterize their play.

"Zwane needs to review the match stats before lying to himself. He is delusional. The style of play was promising at the beginning of the season but he lost courage and resorted to what his predecessors did - overly cautious approach," says sipho.chisi.

"Sometimes winning games is not a priority BUT to build a strong team for the future. Chiefs was destroyed by the wrong coaches, wrong players and wrong scouts. They were all looking for quick fix results and to save their jobs. Winning trophies should be a result of good PLAYERS, scouts, a coach and a strong balanced team.

"We are not in Rome but they say, 'Rome was not built in one day' Arthur '10111' is in the right direction. All he needs is to be given a chance to get players who will understand his philosophy," says Quo Vadis.
