SAFA President Danny Jordaan said that plans are in place for the PSL to introduce the Video Assistant Referee technology.

Speaking at the World Football Summit in Durban last week, Jordaan said the use of VAR is "imminent."

The "What Has Been Holding Back VAR Rollout In PSL" story, saw SL readers flood the comment section to express their views:

"The talk of a politician. Mixing words to make a long answer but actually saying nothing concrete," says Msanisto.

"It is long overdue," says pugson.ditshego

"Jordaan is a politician, and he has no interest in football development in the country. He is pushing his own greedy ambitions. So, I don't expect anything to happen, especially with him at the helm," says Mdu WaMakhosi.

"That's true. That's been a very serious concern!" says Thami.tiki0503, who's also concerned by the defensive frailties of Arthur Zwane's men.
