Cape Town City are set to welcome Khanyisa Mayo back into the fold for their important Western Cape derby against Stellenbosch.

Mayo, who's been linked with league leaders Mamelodi Sundowns will be relied upon by Eric Tinkler to bring the goals and assists as the Citizens aim to climb up the DStv Premiership table.

The "Tinkler's Update On Mayo Amid Downs Talk" story, a Kaizer Chiefs fan took to the comments, begging his club to look into buying the promising baller.

"Mr Chairman, I am begging you, please sign this boy. He is good. Ngibona engeletha omkhulu umehluko (I see him making a huge difference) to our team. I'm a Khosi fan. I am not happy about our team's performance. We need young and experienced players just like this boy," says mlekeleli.

Sticking with Kaizer Chiefs, one of their former players, Siphiwe Mkhonza had his say on Pirates' new specialist striker coach, Scott Chickelday.

Since the Sea Robbers hired the Englishman, formally at Tottenham Hotspurs and Queens Park Rangers, the club has scored 7 goals in two games against Golden Arrows and Stellenbosch.

Mkhonza says it's too early for people to give credit to Chickelday, even though Pirates' goal scoring woes seem to be behind them, for now.

On the "Mkhonza Cautions Against Hyping Pirates Striker Coach" story, readers shared their opinions on Mkhonza's analysis of Pirates' recent form up-front after Chickelday's appointment:

"If we had lost the two games, he would be called names that does not appear in his ID. For now I wish the boys use that as motivation to score more," says tseliso24.

"Another thing wena Dr. Mnandi, the players who scored during the Stellies game were not all attacking players, but defenders too. So, how do you give credit to a striker coach in that case?" says mthiza.tm.
