What a lovely weekend filled with beautiful football it was! There was everything a supporter could ask for: quick, attacking football; goals; red cards; and coaches' comments. Today, we discuss Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane's issues with the cameraman.
"Jingles" had some harsh words for the SuperSport cameraman following his side's 0-0 draw away from home with Chippa United. Many supporters have praised the manner in which the Chilli Boys held the Brazilians, and have described Pitso's criticism of the cameraman as his way of looking for a scapegoat.
"I don't think Pitso would have complained about that cameraman should Dunusa have scored. He is just venting his frustration because Chippa were like a mosquito to them and have produced nothing. The cameraman was doing his job, Sir Pitso, hahahaha!" – Vhivha
"Come next game, the referee will be blamed like Thabo Nkosi, who was blamed during the Wits vs Downs 2-1 thriller two seasons ago. The cameraman was blamed for removing the poles from their normal position whenever Downs attacked Chippa? Was the cameramen the reason Downs failed to get a single corner kick yesterday? Maybe he removed goal posts from their normal positions. The very same cameramen were the reason people like me managed to witness a very good game from Chippa. Without SS4, I would have watched SABC1's ugly pictures, bro." – Msobho-kayi-One
"Downs' muthi is getting weak day by day." – Mix n Match.
Irrespective of the off-field controversy, the supporters seem delighted on this Monday morning thanks to the beautiful football witnessed in the MTN8 this weekend.
