Mamelodi Sundowns secured a 2-0 victory over SuperSport United in the Pretoria derby on Saturday. Masandawana have begun the league season on a high, with an eye-catching performance that entertained the crowd.
The supporters were impressed with many of the players, especially the new recruits – Oupa Manyisa and George Lebese.
"Manyisa might not be seen doing much on the field but his work rate and movement off the ball gave Hlompho the space to intersect with our attackers. George Lebese did what was required and didn't disappoint. I don't know what Pitso said to Billiat because he was on form. Themba is the general in our squad, the most gifted player in the yellow team. Take away the minor glitches and one would realise that Madisha and Bangaly had a good game. It's not easy to mark Thuso Phala for 90 minutes without slipping up. Overall, Pitso has the right team, though I believe it's time we try Mabunda in that No. 4 position." – Peace Ntshangase
