Orlando Pirates supporters were left frustrated when a late equaliser from Platinum Stars saw their team share the spoils with Dikwena on Tuesday night. Many were frustrated with the performance and thought that the Buccaneers could have done a better job. However, most in the Ghost Ship have been calling for patience.
Many feel that Pirates played well in the encounter, and one of the highlights was new signing Thabiso Kutumela opening his scoring account
"I understand that a new coach will have his own philosophy to drill into the players and it might take time for players to adapt to it... but with my team, watching from the sidelines... I don't see what we are trying to do...?" – Mufasa
"Patience, patience, things come together, new coach, new players, new surroundings, new system, new styles and hairstyles." – Spikere
"Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose and some people tend to forget that, that's football for you." – jevas
"Stars are always difficult to beat but I'm not sure why people are complaining. To my understanding, we're still building a team here. Muhsin will do his job only when the players are eager to fight for the jersey. As far as I'm concerned, they are not as yet. Buying players doesn't guarantee results but we have enough players to build a formidable side and we must be patient if we want success at Orlando. There's no need to put pressure on the coach and in only five games into the season, we never won convincingly since the beginning of the season, but I'm positive Muhsin will build the team if given a chance by us supporters. My question is: When are we going to support the team? Pressurising the coach, players and management? Can we afford to lose so early in the season? He is given three years to build a good side, not to win every game we play. It's so unfortunate we don't see it the same way as supporters." – mokobane
Do you see Muhsin's method? Can you see a team in progress?
