Jermaine Seoposenwe's 13th-minute strike was enough to send Banyana Banyana to the WAFCON semi-finals and to the next World Cup. The goal prompted a mass celebration on the timeline.

What's the story?

Seoposenwe's early goal sent Banyana through to the WAFCON semi-finals.

She caught the Tunisian defense lacking and slotted in a composed finish which inevitably saw South African fans on Twitter go wild. 

Fans praised her Woman of the Match performance and her goal which also booked Banyana a ticket into the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup.

The timeline heaped praise on Banyana's number 12. They not only complemented her goal but also how she plays the beautiful game.

She comes close to Banyana legend Veronica Phewa's record of scoring in four different tournaments.
