SuperSport United resumed ABSA Premiership duties on Wednesday night, when they hosted struggling Ajax Cape Town at Mbombela Stadium.
Matsatsantsa a Pitori continued where they left off before their CAF Confederation Cup commitments, when they beat and stopped Golden Arrows' unbeaten run to the start of the season, and it was winger Aubrey Modiba's goal that ensured victory for the Pretoria club.
Matsatsantsa have played less matches than most of the PSL clubs, and have six games in hand. They have played six and collected 13 points so far.
Supporters have reacted to SSU's latest win following their CAF Confed Cup disappointment last week. Take a look at some the members' comments:
"SuperSport are 13 points after just six games?! Something we really envy as a Khosi nation. Well done, it's not easy playing continental football then coming back with wins in the domestic league. Well done, Tinkler." – mjoster
"This Modiba boy is making scoring a habit. He can teach Paez, Gabuza and Parker a thing or two." – chiefs is useless
"At least they cope after the loss in CAF Confederation Cup." – Myaka weliPhefeni
"SSU have a greater chance of being log leaders if they win their upcoming three matches." – vharaul22@gmail.com
Considering the number of games in hand Matsatsantsa have, do you think they will top the log soon?
