As revealed by the Siya crew, Mamelodi Sundowns are said to be on the verge of landing SuperSport United man Jeremey Brockie. The Chloorkop side is reportedly willing to pay close to R12 million for the New Zealand striker.
Orlando Pirates were also reported to be in the hunt for Brockie, but now with Masandawana willing to break the bank for the sensational forward, Bucs supporters are bound to react to the news.
Supporters Club's Lerato Mkhondo caught up with Pirates fan Ntokozo Mncube, who, unlike fellow Bhakajuju fans, doesn't really seem bothered by the possibility of losing Brockie to the Ka Bo Yellow nation.
Lerato: Ola Bhakaniya! What are your thoughts on the latest developments regarding Brockie? I know how much you guys want him at Mayfair.
Ntokozo: Honestly, Sundowns can have Brockie, it's really not a train smash. I'd rather Pirates chase Maritzburg United's Evans Rusike. Take nothing away from Brockie, he is a good striker, but I feel like Rusike is what we need more. Rusike is younger than Brockie and that is an advantage for us. Pirates should focus more on chasing Rusike and leave the SuperSport United forward.
Do you think Pirates should give up on chasing Brockie?
