Arsene Wenger has been at the helm at Arsenal FC for over 20 years and with the manager's contract expiring at the end of June this year, it would be interesting to see if the Frenchman will remain with the Gunners. Amid the criticism and no mention from the club of an extension to the 67-year-old's current deal, there have been a few rumours of who would be lining-up to take charge.
Thierry Henry, the former Arsenal forward and current assistant coach of the Belgium national team was recently asked if he would be interested in taking over and the supporters had their own view on the matter.
"It's going to be a 50 metre step back because players will not respect Thierry Henry as their head coach! If Arsenal will appoint him, I'm sure they will regret it as time goes on. They must ask AC Milan about what happened when they appointed Clarence Seedorf as their head coach, even today they haven't found their style of playing." - Myaka weliPhefeni
"Let Thierry Henry take over Arsenal like how Zinedine Zidane did at Real Madrid." - SPHASH
"Let him take the chance." - Faysal
Do you think that Arsene should remain at The Gunners?
