Lamola: I Look After Street Kids!

Lamola: I Look After Street Kids!

Bloemfontein Celtic striker, Lerato Lamola, spoke highly of the relationship between the team's vociferous and passionate supporters and the players, in this week's Revolving Column.

"Together we are like an extended family. Our passionate supporters don't just turn up. We engage with them in the community quiet consistently. I even personally look after a few street kids in Bloemfontein. I buy them bread almost every daily. Playing at home in front of our supporters requires us to win at all costs," said Lamola.

What do you think of the relationship between Celtic players and supporters? How important is it for players to socialise or engage with their supporters? Do you have any personal experience of being engaged by your team's player/s?

Cheers.
