Mamelodi Sundowns' Mozambican international winger, Elias Pelembe's contract is expiring at the end of the season with the Chloorkop-based club said to be interested in extending his stay at the club.
According to our Siya crew sources at the club, the negotiations have already taken place although nothing has been finalised as yet.
The former SuperSport United skilful winger is reported to be among the highest-paid players at Sundowns and the PSL at large. However, the past couple of seasons have seen very little from the 31-year-old although it is worth mentioning that he has spent a lengthy period on the side-lines due to injuries.
Sources close to the player have also told the Siya crew that Domingues isn't short of admirers should things not go according to plan at Sundowns. Coach Pitso Mosimane is said to be very happy with the player's commitment and discipline and that he has made it clear to management that he wants the player retained at the club.
