With the PSL confirming that supporters will be allowed back into the stadiums, we take a look at how fans reacted to the positive news.
What's the story?
At a press conference held at the PSL offices, chairman Irvin Khoza confirmed that supporters will be back at stadiums, starting with the upcoming Nedbank Cup quarterfinal clashes.
With President Cyril Ramaphosa easing COVID-19 restrictions recently, the PSL held an executive committee on Monday as matches on the 8th and 9th April were identified for the return.
Welcoming The Fans
In the press conference, Khoza said, ""When we met as an executive committee yesterday (Monday), we had to make sure what the permutations are and we had to make sure we comply with the requirements in terms of whatever regulation is effective that this point in time," Khoza said during the press conference.
There will be 50 percent use of the stadium capacity. Those permitted, will need to produce a valid vaccination certificate or a negative test, which would need to have been obtained no more than 72 hours (after the test was conducted)," the chairman concluded.
