With Erwin Saavedra set to represent Mamelodi Sundowns in the near future, fans have been left excited at the prospect of the South American linking up with players such as Gaston Sirino and Themba Zwane.
What's the story?
The Chloorkop giants recently showcased Saavedra as their latest signing, while they bolstered their midfield department with ex-SuperSport United star Lebohang Mokoena as well.
As he arrived in the country, the Bolivian was greeted by a small group of club fans at the airport. The 25-year-old will look at adding a different dimension of technical flair, as many videos highlight packages showcase the star being quite skilful with the ball at his feet.
Big Signing
Saavedra made his way to Sundowns with former team, Club Bolivar, reportedly accepting a fee of $800 000 (+- R12.2 million) for his signature.
That being said, the Downs fans have been licking their lips at the prospect of Saavedra linking up with midfielder's Gaston Sirino and Themba Zwane, as seen on reactions to the welcome video he posted on his Twitter account.
With Downs set to face Al Ahly in the CAF Champions League later this month, one supporter even hoped the Bolivian score against the Egyptian giants!
