The Twitter timeline was buzzing after Mduduzi Shabalala finished off a well-worked Kaizer Chiefs goal during their convincing 3-0 win over Maritzburg United.

Let's take a look.

What's the story?

Kaizer Chiefs fans stormed the Twitter timeline to gush over Shabalala's goal in Chiefs' first win of the season against the Team of Choice.

The goal was Shabalala's first in senior professional football and he became the third youngest baller to score a league goal for Amakhosi.

Let's see how the fans reacted on Twitter.

Twitter reactions

Apart from celebrating Chiefs' win, fans took to Twitter to reshare Shabalala's goal and tweeted their delight over the wonderkid earning some much-needed minutes.

Twitter user @Cellular_jnr: "As a Kaizer Chiefs fan seeing Mduduzi Shabalala scoring has to be the best moment of the game... One of our own making his debut and scoring! The future is bright at Naturena!"

Twitter user @Ntunjambill1224: "It was the turn from Sekgota, the cut back from Billiat, and the finish from Mduduzi 'Do as I do" Shabalala that sealed it on the night for the mighty Kaizer Chiefs. Abuyile AmaKhosi, Rise Khosi Rise."

Twitter user @SihleSays: "Very nice. First goal in Chiefs colours for the young Mduduzi Shabalala. And he's genuinely young. He's 18."

Twitter user @Tumzaza3: "One thing about Mduduzi Shabalala is that he always scores. At every level he plays. I'm very happy he is being given a chance early. He showed in the MDC he is above his class. We are not making the same mistake we made with Nkosingiphile Ngcobo."
