A rollercoaster season it has been for Bloemfontein Celtic supporters. Things have gotten pretty bad of late, though. Poor results, players leaving without notice, and fans boycotting home and away games. Supporters Club caught up with a Celtic supporter to get some insight into what the Siwelele faithful are going through.
Mamello Makha did not mince her words.
"The Supporters are very angry," she said.
"They have decided to boycott all home and away games because of the poor performance of the team, as well as allegations against (owner) Max Tshabalala."
The allegations seem to revolve around the fact that the supporters are confused about who actually owns their team and who is actually in charge.
"No one has spoken to us and that is why we are angry," she continued.
"We don't know why the players are leaving. They are not happy though, I think they are scared they won't get a bonus if they don't perform this season.
"The supporters are considering going to Orlando early on Saturday to stop the bus. They want to disrupt the game. They are very angry."
The fans seem to be more upset about the lack of communication from the club than anything else, so Supporters Club is trying to get in contact with management to get some clarity for the people.
In the meantime, hold tight Siwelele, Soccer Laduma are huge fans of the Celtic's supporters. We are here for you, and the voice of Bloemfontein Celtic's supporters deserves to be heard.
