SuperSport United goalkeeper Ricardo Goss has shared some insight into how he and coach Gavin Hunt at times fight, saying they usually have a go at each other.
Goss joined SuperSport at the start of the season on a two-season long loan deal from Tshwane rivals Mamelodi Sundowns, reuniting with Hunt after the two had previously worked together at Bidvest Wits.

Hunt is known as someone who is not afraid to speak his mind and, according to Goss, he wants his players to be brave enough to challenge him. In an interview with the Siya crew recently, Goss spoke about how Hunt motivates players and tries to get them to higher levels.
"He gets me going. He knows how to get me going. I know what he wants from me. We have our fights. For me, it's about the drive. He can get you to want to win everything. He's got that thing inside of him that I can't even explain. He's got that grit and he makes you have that confidence. He will tell you that you are the best in the country, just to motivate you and get you to the next level. That's what I can applaud him on," Goss said to the Siya crew.
"We're always fighting about how I concede. He will have a go at me and I will have a go at him too. That's one thing I like about him. He has a go at you and he wants you to have a go back at him, because he wants you to be confident. What he says to me is that 'even though you are wrong, you are right'. He is that type of person. One thing you know for a fact is that he is not going to take anything personal. He would say 'that's what I want. I want you to stand up for yourself'."
