The Tshwane giants will still be without goalkeeper Denis Onyango after he was red-carded against Rise and Shine.
Steve Barker's charges, on the other hand, made it to the semi-finals after thrashing TS Galaxy 3-1 in the quarter-finals.
The Cape Winelands outfit, unlike Sundowns, have had more match rhythm after participating in the CAF Confederation Cup first preliminary round.
Stellies eliminated Eswatini outfit Nsingizini Hotspurs 8-0 on aggregate, which included a 5-0 win in the second leg last weekend.
