Date: 15 October 2022

Venue: Moses Mabhida Stadium

Chiefs stretched their unbeaten run to five matches and won their third game in a row after defeating Stellenbosch 3-1 last Sunday.

The Glamour Boys moved up to fourth on the log, two points behind leaders Mamelodi Sundowns, who will have two games in hand after this weekend's fixtures.

The Soweto giants will welcome back Zitha Kwinika and George Matlou from suspensions but goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune has been ruled out with injury.

Chippa, on the other hand, will be playing for the first time after the international break, as they went into recess with their morale high following consecutive wins over AmaZulu and Marumo Gallants.

In fact, caretaker coach Morgan Mammila has a 100 percent winning record as those victories came after he replaced Daine Klate in the dugout.

The Chilli Boys are placed 11th on the table with 11 points, two points adrift of the top eight spots.

Chiefs completed a league double over Chippa last season, which included a 4-0 win in this fixture and a 3-1 victory on the road.
