Stellies won their third game in four league matches and conceded only one goal in that run after edging AmaZulu 1-0 on Saturday thanks to a goal by Anicet Oura.

Steve Barker's charges climbed up to seventh on the table with 17 points and will go up to fourth if they bag maximum points.

Spurs, meanwhile, lost their third league game in a row, the first under new head coach Ernst Middendorp after going down 2-1 against Royal AM on Saturday.

The Urban Warriors are rooted at the bottom of the table with only three points from 12 matches and are seven points behind 15th-placed Richards Bay.

The sides last clashed when they were in the Motsepe Foundation Championship, in the 2018/19 season, when they had a win apiece.

Spurs won the first round clash 1-0 courtesy of a late goal by former striker Thabo Mosadi but Stellies won the second round clash 2-1 after a brace by Iqraam Rayners, who netted the winner in the second stanza after Tashreeq Morris had cancelled out his opener.

Here's how they line up:

Cape Town Spurs: Ramsbottom, Allie, Moroole, Phewa, Morton, Dortley, Msani, Lukhubeni, Cupido, Butsaka, Baartman

Subs: Boshoff, Daniels, Ralani, Buchanan, Haukongo, Velebayo, Moosa, Bern

Stellenbosch: Masuluke, Toure, Mcaba, Van Rooyen, Matsheke, Sibande, Adams, De Jong, Oura, Titus, Rayners
