Chiefs went to the FIFA break smarting after a 4-0 defeat to Mamelodi Sundowns in the Carling Knockout quarter-finals.

Amakhosi were also in a bad run of form in the league before facing Sundowns, as they came from two goals down against Magesi to salvage a 2-2 draw that also avoided a third consecutive defeat.

Nasreddine Nabi's charges are lying ninth on the table with seven points but have two games in hand.

The Soweto giants will be without defender Inacio Miguel who will be serving his first of two-match suspensions after he was red-carded against The Brazilians.

The Natal Rich Boyz also extended their winless run in the league to six matches after a narrow 1-0 loss to Orlando Pirates before the FIFA break.

Brandon Truter's men are placed 13th on the table, two points behind Chiefs.
