Sundowns took another step closer to securing the title on Wednesday after thrashing Richards Bay FC 3-0 at Loftus Versfeld.
The win, coupled with Orlando Pirates' loss to Sekhukhune, has seen Miguel Carodoso's charges move 12 points at the top of the standings.
The Brazilians will come up against a City side who have failed to win their last 12 matches in the Premiership.
That poor run of form has seen City drop to the bottom, which is now the 15th place after Royal AM were kicked out of the league.
City can take comfort from the fact that thy were the only team to beat Sundowns in the Premiership last season, although the Brazilians did claim a 3-0 win earlier this season.
