While there's just over a week to go before the Soweto Derby, Soccer Laduma takes a look back at 10 dramatic images from the previous showdown between Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates.
Last year, Chiefs put an end to Pirates' four-year Absa Premiership dominance over Amakhosi, when Ernst Middendorp's side snatched a 3-2 victory against the Bucs earlier this season.

Daniel Cardoso's penalty in he 84th minute was enough to see Amakhosi through the encounter, which had a dramatic opening in the first minute with Nstikelelo Nyauza scoring an own goal to give Chiefs the early lead.

However, the Bucs will go into next weekend's encounter a refreshed and new side – firing off the back of a six-match winning run in the league, an outstanding start to life under the mentorship of Josef Zinnbauer.
Chiefs on the other hand, suffered their third league loss of the season to Maritzburg United on Saturday and will be eager to bounce back, although still have a Nedbank Cup fixture ahead of them.
Zinnbauer will meet his German counterpart on February 28 and it remains to be seen whether he will get his first Soweto Derby win under his belt.
