Both Bucs and Amakhosi come from victories from last weekend's Telkom Knockout matches, against Chippa United and Black Leopards respectively.
Speaking to the media during the Soweto Derby build-up press conference this week, Mokwena said that football fans will be looking forward to an open game from the two powerhouses of South African football.
"Big one – one that the entire country is anticipating and heavily anticipating. I think that two teams that come in with very good form, two teams that come in with very similar playing styles and two teams that are heavily reliant on possession-oriented approach, and I think that is what is possibly galvanizing the energy at this moment in time. I think everybody is looking forward to an open game from two of the biggest teams in this country," said Mokwena.
