Pirates Assistant Coach Talks Facing Chiefs In The Upcoming Soweto Derby

Orlando Pirates' assistant coach Rulani Mokwena has revealed what he thinks most people will be looking out for in their match against Kaizer Chiefs this coming weekend.

The sold-out Absa Premiership Soweto Derby has been scheduled to take place at FNB Stadium on Saturday.

Both Bucs and Amakhosi come from victories from last weekend's Telkom Knockout matches, against Chippa United and Black Leopards respectively.

Speaking to the media during the Soweto Derby build-up press conference this week, Mokwena said that football fans will be looking forward to an open game from the two powerhouses of South African football.

"Big one – one that the entire country is anticipating and heavily anticipating. I think that two teams that come in with very good form, two teams that come in with very similar playing styles and two teams that are heavily reliant on possession-oriented approach, and I think that is what is possibly galvanizing the energy at this moment in time. I think everybody is looking forward to an open game from two of the biggest teams in this country," said Mokwena.
