Going into tomorrow's Soweto Derby, Orlando Pirates appear to be cautious about a Kaizer Chiefs star whom they think might look to hurt them to close the gap with Gabadinho Mhango on the goal scorer's charts.
While many have spoken a lot about Pirates' league form under Josef Zinnbauer, and the possibility for the team to close the gap with Chiefs on the log for a serious fight in the title race in the remaining matches of the season, the Buccaneers are wary of the threat that might be caused by Amakhosi's Samir Norkovic in their chances.
In previewing the much-anticipated match, the Buccaneers stated on the club's official website, "Kaizer Chiefs have had no problems in front of goal, and this is largely thanks to their Serbian marksman, Samir Nurkovic. The 27-year old has bagged 11 goals in the league so far, and will be looking to close the gap on Pirates' current top goal scorer Gabadinho Mhango by getting on the score sheet on Saturday."
Chiefs go into the match having a chance of completing a double over Pirates, after they beat them 3-2 in the first round match in November.
