Orlando Pirates are expected to provide an update on three stars ahead of this coming weekend's Soweto Derby.
For his first Soweto Derby experience, Pirates coach Josef Zinnbauer will want to have all of his stars available to select his strong line-up, against his German counterpart Ernst Middendorp's top of the table Kaizer Chiefs for the Absa Premiership clash on Saturday.

Last week, Pirates confirmed that the trio of midfield ace Ben Motshwari, as well as defender Abel Mabaso and new signing Nkanyiso Zungu have been recovering from injuries.
With the team coming from the weekend with no competitive football action, as they were eliminated from the Nedbank Cup in the earlier round, it would be expected that some of the players that have been injured have made progress.

Regarding Motshwari, the Buccaneers confirmed last week that he was expected to start full training as he had been on final phase of his rehabilitation for an ankle injury, while for Mabaso the update was that he was expected to be out for up to two weeks for a hamstring injury.
Zungu, who is yet to make his official debut for Bucs since joining from Stellenbosch FC in January, had been working on returning to the field following his groin injury.
Pirates will be expected to give an indication of how the team is looking ahead of Chiefs' clash closer to matchday.
