Leonardo Castro Doesn't Want Kaizer Chiefs To Lose Again

Leonardo Castro has revealed what keeps him up at night as he takes aim at scoring another Soweto Derby goal for Kaizer Chiefs this weekend. Castro does, however, love a goal against the Buccaneers, and has scored more against them (4) than any other team in the country since his move to Mzansi. He's looking to avoid defeat this time around though, telling the club's official website that he struggles to sleep after defeat. He said, "I barely sleep after having lost a game, I keep thinking, 'What should we have been done differently?' But you also need to move on, you can't get stuck in a disappointing moment." The 29-year-old was full of praise for the spectacle though, insisting that they are now a better team under Ernst Middendorp, a man who knows all about South Africa's biggest game. He added, "The Soweto Derby is South Africa's biggest game… No other game comes even close. I don't feel any nerves. It's pure enjoyment… It's a must-win derby, also because we want to get closer to the top of the log. "We have improved a lot since he (Middendorp) joined. We are training hard and are very motivated to do well. "To see and hear you (supporters) cheering us on, especially in a full stadium, is so enormously motivating. That's when, as a player, you want to be at your best. Let's win Saturday's derby together."
