Ernst Middendorp has confirmed that one of their defenders is clear to play in the Soweto Derby, despite Kaizer Chiefs having to take him off during their last game. The Siya crew reported yesterday that Kgotso Moleko should be fit to take on Orlando Pirates at the weekend after he began full training again, and Middendorp has now given an update on his situation as the game draws closer. Moleko clashed with Virgil Vries during Chiefs' 1-0 defeat at the hands of Cape Town City, and there were worries for his fitness as he had to be substituted early in the first half. Now though, it has been explained that he has been back in full training for a couple of days, and is available for selection. Middendorp told the media, "He went out because he got a knock, a knock on his leg. He was a little bit handicapped for a few days after, but he's been in full training since Tuesday." The coach also explained that there are no fresh injury concerns for the club after what has been a tough few weeks on the injury front at Naturena.
