The draw for the quarter-finals of the TKO was made on Tuesday evening after Chippa United became the final team to cement their place in the last eight, with South Africa's Soweto giants, Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates, being pitted against each other once again.

Amakhosi and the Buccaneers met in the semifinals of the same competition last year as Pirates progressed to the final only to be beaten by Baroka FC, and the two clubs will both be eager to end their respective trophy droughts before 2019 is out.
Meanwhile, SuperSport United are pitted against Golden Arrows, Chippa host Mamelodi Sundowns, and Highlands Park will travel to Maritzburg United in the other three games that will take place early in November as teams battle it out for a place in the semis.
Of the eight teams left in the tournament, half of them have never reached the final of the Telkom Knockout – under any of it's past names – in their history, while Chiefs (x11) have won the it more than the other seven teams combined (x5).

The last three champions, Baroka, Cape Town City and Bidvest Wits, are all already out having fallen at the first hurdle in 2019, while Masandawana (winners in 2015) are the most recent victors still remaining at this stage.
