Orlando Pirates head coach, Josef Zinnbauer commented on how it is the first time two German mentors will go head to head for the first time in the Soweto Derby.
Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs will lock horns at the FNB Stadium on Saturday afternoon in one of the biggest clashes in African football.
However, the two giants go into the encounter with different objectives it seems; despite both sides in the title race, the Pirates' head coach refuses to count his side in it, while Ernst Middendorp's side are desperate to bring silverware to the cabinets at Naturena.
But can Zinnbauer outsmart his German counterpart and make it difficult for Amakhosi on Saturday?
"Two German coaches – it is a lucky time (laughs), maybe it is not important for the coaches on the bench but how you prepare the squads for the derby. I think it is not important if you are German, African or Italian, the importance is on a good performance for the supporters, if you make a top performance then maybe it is a little okay if you lose… but if you have a good performance, but a win, it is all happy," Zinnbauer said at the Woza Nazo press conference.
