Gavin Hunt and his Bidvest Wits side will be looking to make a comeback this weekend as they turn their focus to the league. Last weekend, the Students suffered a 1-0 loss in the semi-final of the Telkom Knockout cup competition and in the process failed to retain the title that they successfully won last season.

Now, placed second on the log standings with three points separating them and leaders Orlando Pirates, the Braamfontein-based club will be hoping to snatch three points away from Black Leopards, however, Lidoda Duvha are hosts in this match and will not be an easy team to face.

This week, former Orlando Pirates wingman Thulasizwe Mbuyane gets in on this week's matches and points out who he thinks will walk away with three points in the bag. Do you agree with his choices?

Getafe v Espanyol (La Liga)

Match 3 Soccer 6  Pool 1 December S6 V1 P1

League Rankings: Getafe 11th Espanyol 5th

Useful facts: Espanyol will look to pile on more misery on the home side, who are sitting in the bottom half of the league table. However, despite sitting six positions away from each other, there is not much that separates the two teams. A win for Getafe would ensure they are one point adrift of the visitors and it's a much-needed victory as well, especially playing in front of their fans. But they are up against an Espanyol side looking to bounce back to winning ways after their 3-1 loss to Girona in their last game before the international break. The last time the two teams met, back in April, Getafe secured a 1-0 victory.

Thulasizwe Mbuyane: Espanyol win

Black Leopards v Bidvest Wits (Premier Soccer League)

Match 4 Soccer 6  Pool 1 December S6 V1 P1

League Rankings: Black Leopards 14th Bidvest Wits 2nd

Useful facts: Still smarting from defeat at the hands of unfancied Baroka FC in the Telkom Knockout semi-finals, Bidvest Wits will want to channel all their efforts to grab the three points against Black Leopards, who seem to have their wheels coming off after a decent start to life back in the Absa Premiership. If The Students thought travelling to Limpopo and playing at Peter Mokaba Stadium is tough and uncomfortable, then they may well have another thing coming at Thohoyandou Stadium, where angels fear to tread. The home side will need the 12th man rallying behind them, as they sit in 14th position on the league table. A win for Gavin Hunt's men could see them back in top spot, depending on other results.

Thulasizwe Mbuyane: Bidvest Wits win

Real Madrid v Valencia (La Liga)

Match 6 Soccer 6  Pool 1 December S6 V1 P1

League Rankings: Real Madrid 6th Valencia 11th

Useful facts: Valencia, who secured a morale-boosting 3-0 win over Rayo Vallecano in their last league fixture, will face Real Madrid on the back of a UEFA Champions League group stages game against Juventus on Tuesday. Los Blancos have not quite hit their straps this season, with many suggesting they are not the same team since the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo, but they will surely give themselves a chance against a Valencia side that has scored only 11 goals in 13 league games. Madrid's last league result was a 3-0 loss away to Eibar, before Tuesday's Champions League fixture against Roma, and they will look to collect maximum points on Saturday in order to remain part of the chasing pack.
