The 16 clubs in the league gear up to take on each other in the Telkom Knockout Challenge. With the cash prize amount of R4 million up for grabs, the teams will be gunning for blood to reach the final of the competition.

While, the match of the week sees Chelsea host Manchester United in an EPL game. The Red Devils have a great task on their hands as they set out to snatch three points at Stamford Bridge against an unbeaten Chelsea side.

Retired South African footballer, Leonard Qaba gets in on the matches that will take place this weekend and makes his predictions. Do you agree with Qaba's choices?

Match of the Week

Chelsea v Manchester United (English Premier League)

Match 1 Soccer 6 Pool 20 October S6 V1 P1

League Rankings: Chelsea 2nd Manchester United 8th

Useful facts: Manchester United have had one of their worst starts to a Premier League season and it does not get any tougher than Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. While the Red Devils have only won four, lost draw and drawn eight of their eight games so far, the Blues are yet to lose this season and are joint-top with Manchester City on 20 points. A win for Maurizio Sarri's men will be massive, but Man United are out to spoil their good start to the season and their confidence will have been helped a great deal by the dramatic win over Newcastle United. Needless to say, this game could have an impact on the beleaguered Jose Mourinho's future at the club.

Mamelodi Sundowns v Bloemfontein Celtic (Telkom Knockout)

Match 4 Soccer 6 Pool 20 October S6 V1 P1

League Rankings: Mamelodi Sundowns 7th Bloemfontein Celtic 5th

Useful facts: With results not going exactly their way in the league, Mamelodi Sundowns will be out to make amends in the cup competition, against the resolute Bloemfontein Celtic. Having lost out at the semi-final stage in the MTN8, Pitso Mosimane will treat this match with the respect it deserves and is not expected to tweak his squad much or give so-called regular players a rest. Meanwhile, Celtic, who have had their fair share of problems off the pitch, will hope to spoil it all for the home side. After all the salaries and signing-on fees talk in the Siwelele camp, Steve Komphela's charges should be motivated for this one, as clubs reward players with handsome bonuses for winning a cup competition.

Leonard Qaba: Mamelodi Sundowns win

Orlando Pirates v Chippa United (Telkom Knockout)

Match 6 Soccer 6 Pool 20 October S6 V1 P1

League Rankings: Orlando Pirates 2nd Chippa United 11th

Useful facts:It promises to be a thrill-a-minute affair when the Buccaneers host Chippa United at Orlando Stadium on Saturday evening. Eric Tinkler will face his former team for the first time since taking on the Chilli Boys coaching job and will want to walk out of the venue with a win to prove a point or two to Pirates. But it's a tough ask, and besides, it seems the focus for them is on bettering their league form if they don't want to avoid the prospect of relegation. For Pirates, there will be pressure from their home fans. Milutin Sredojevic will emphasise on a good defensive display, as Bucs are susceptible to lapses of concentration at crucial moments of the game. Whichever way the result goes, one thing is for sure, this is going to be a helluva entertaining game!
