The Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers continues this weekend and some crucial matches will determine whether some countries will participate in next year's event or not.

Former Orlando Pirates striker, Andries Sebola gets in on the action and predicts the outcome for the following games. Do you agree with 'Local is Lekker'?

Uganda v Lesotho (AFCON qualifier)

Match 2 Soccer 6 Pool 12 October S6 V2 P1

League Rankings: Uganda 83rd Lesotho 145th

Useful facts: Group L log leaders Uganda know that a win will bring them closer to qualification and will not want to put a foot wrong playing at home. It's a tight group though, with Lesotho in second place and two points adrift of their opposition. The small southern African nation will have to work hard for a result at Mandela National Stadium, as the Cranes are yet to concede after two rounds of fixtures. Uganda have selected mostly local-based players in an effort to blood them into the national team setup in preparation for the future, but rest assured they are taking this game seriously, with the return leg a few days later.

Andries Sebola: Uganda win

DR Congo v Zimbabwe (AFCON qualifier)

Match 4 Soccer 6 Pool 12 October S6 V2 P1

League Rankings: DR Congo 40th Zimbabwe 117th

Useful facts: Zimbabwe's golden generation, ably led on the pitch by Khama Billiat, are on course to qualify for the AFCON yet again and will be aware that, although sitting atop the standings, they cannot afford to take their foot off the pedal. A tough task awaits them at Stade des Martyrs, where the home supporters will be out to spur their national team on and apply all sorts of intimidation tactics on the visitors. The Warriors are a side that thrives on their attacking prowess but will need to be careful of being caught on the counter by the home side, who will be relentless in their pursuit of a favourable result that would see them make a jump on the standings.

Andries Sebola: DR Congo win

Burkina Faso v Botswana (AFCON qualifier)

Match 5 Soccer 6 Pool 12 October S6 V2 P1

League Rankings: Burkina Faso 56th Botswana 142nd

Useful facts: The going has really been tough for Botswana, who are winless in their two qualification games so far and are yet to register on the score sheet. It will not get any tougher than the physically imposing Burkina Faso, who have been on the rise in recent years, away from home. But miracles do happen in football and the fact that so-called minnows, in Mauritania, top the group after a perfect start of two wins from games means this group is far from decided.

Andries Sebola: Burkina Faso win
