This weekend, all eyes will be on the matches that will be taking to the field across the globe. In Spain, Real Madrid travel away as Los Blancos take on Alaves. The Cristiano Ronaldo-less Madrid side has had a rough start to the 2018/19 season and just this week lost their UEFA Champions League match against CSKA Moscow in a 1-0 defeat. They will be hoping to bounce back against a sixth-place Alaves.

While, on the local football scene, Highlands Park welcome Chippa United to Makhulong stadium. The Chilli Boys go into the match with confidence after bagging three points in their midweek match against Free State Stars. On the other hand, the hosts' last encounter against Kaizer Chiefs ended in a 0-0 draw.

This week, KwaDukuza goalkeeper Nimrod Tsengwa gets in on the games and predicts who he thinks will walk away with a victory. Do you agree with his choices?

Getafe v Levante (LaLiga)

Soccer 6 Pool: Match 2 Soccer 6 Pool 5 October S6 V2P1

League Rankings: Getafe 9th Levante 16th

Useful facts: The two teams are sitting some distance from each other on the league table, but there really isn't much that separates them. Getafe have nine points, while Levante have seven, which should be some sort of motivation for the visitors. They might be in 16th place, but they have scored 11 goals in the seven games played so far, while, for example, fourth-placed Atletico Madrid have only netted eight times. Levante beat the home side 1-0 in their last meeting, in March.

Nimrod Tsengwa: Levante win

Alaves v Real Madrid (LaLiga)

Soccer 6 Pool: Match 4 Soccer 6 Pool 5 October S6 V2P1

League Rankings: Alaves 6th Real Madrid 2nd

Useful facts: The Blaugrana will be keen to bounce back with a bang after being held to a 0-0 draw by Atletico Madrid in the fiercely contested Madrid derby last Saturday. However, only three points separate them from their opponents, evidence of how tough it may get. El Gloriosio come off a disappointing result away to Levante, so it will not only be about stopping a giant but ensuring they are on course to finish as high up the table as possible. The last time the two teams met, which was in February, Madrid thrashed the hosts 4-0, with a Cristiano Ronaldo brace proving pivotal.

Nimrod Tsengwa: Real Madrid win

Highlands Park v Chippa United (Premier Soccer League)

Soccer 6 Pool: Match 6 Soccer 6 Pool 5 October S6 V2P1

League Rankings: Highlands Park 9th Chippa United 14th

Useful facts: After facing Kaizer Chiefs in a sold-out affair at Makhulong Stadium on Wednesday, the Lions of the North will play hosts for a second successive game this Saturday, and this time are up against the Chilli Boys. The latter are desperate for points, as a season that promised so much for them has yet to deliver positive results. They will fancy their chances against a Highlands Park side that has the joint-worst defensive record in the league, having conceded 11 goals in eight games. However, the Port Elizabeth side will have to dig deep, as they have scored a paltry four goals in six outings so far.

Nimrod Tsengwa: Draw
