Leagues across the world return this weekend after the international break came to an end. The Spanish LaLiga will see off an encounter where FC Barcelona will travel away to Anoeta stadium where the Catalans will face eighth-placed Real Sociedad. On South African shores, Maritzburg United will be hoping that the recent break will get them to winning ways against log leaders, Bidvest Wits.

Ex-Orlando Pirates midfielder, Innocent Chikoya gives his predictions on the following matches. Do you agree with Chikoya?

Real Sociedad v FC Barcelona (LaLiga)

Match 4 Soccer 10 Pool 14 Sept S10 V3

League Rankings: Real Sociedad 8th FC Barcelona 1st (La Liga)

Useful facts: Barca have had a perfect season to the season and will be unwilling to let Real Sociedad spoil the party. They will be the overwhelming favourites for this fixtures – the game is about the goals and they have scored a whopping 12 in three games so far. La Real's results, meanwhile, have been a mixed bag of inconsistency – a win, a draw and a loss. Having conceded five goals, it's hard to see how they are going to stop Lionel Messi Co. In the most recent encounter between the two teams, in May, Barcelona ran out 1-0 winners.

Innocent Chikoya: Barcelona win

Maritzburg United v Bidvest Wits (Premier Soccer League)

Match 5 Soccer 10 Pool 14 Sept S10 V3

League Rankings: Maritzburg United 15th Bidvest Wits 1st

Useful facts: It's two teams sitting on opposite ends of the Absa Premiership table doing battle, and the pressure is certainly on! For the Team of Choice, there is nothing more inviting than the opportunity to beat the Clever Boys to boost the confidence in camp and get them back to the highs of last season, while for Gavin Hunt's men, it's all about keeping the consistency. It's a tricky encounter for Maritzburg, as different players from Wits are contributing to the goals this season, but the hosts will bank on vociferous home support to get them going. The last time the two sides locked horns, in April, the Braamfontein-based outfit claimed a hard-fought 2-1 home win.

Innocent Chikoya: Wits win
