The FIFA 20 eChampions League Invitational will take place from 20-22 August 2020, and offers a prize pool of $100 000 (R1.7 million)!
The event will be streamed live on the EA SPORTS FIFA Twitch and YouTube channels, and will feature eight of the top FIFA players in Europe.
The European Champions from the past three seasons of global tournaments have been invited to take part, and the overall winner will pocket $35 0000 (R604 259) for their efforts over the two days.
Swedish sensation, Ollelito, who was the recent winner of the European Global Series event, will certainly be one to watch.
There will be four competitors from Germany in MegaBit, DullenMIKE, MoAuba and NRaseck while Great Britain has three competitors in Gorilla, Stokes and Tekkz.
The runner up in the event will take home $25 000 (R431 612). There are prizes for each competitor, no matter where they finish.
In Round 1, Gorilla will take on Tekkz in Group A, while MegaBit faces DullenMike. Group B sees MoAuba take on Ollelito while Stokes and NRaseck face off in the first round.
The tournament gets underway on Thursday, 20 August 2020, with the preshow starting at 18:00 SA time. The first game will get underway at 18:30.
