The future of one of Mamelodi Sundowns' utility players is still currently up in the air, with the player's exit from the Chloorkop-based club inevitable at this point.
Asavela Mbekile, whose last Absa Premiership appearance for the Brazilians was last year, February, is still currently on the books of Masandawana, despite completely falling out of favour at the club.

The 31-year-old's contract with the Brazilians is set to come to an end on June 30 this year, however, Siya sources have since informed the crew that the player could be heading for the exit during the current January transfer window.
Although, in order for a move to materialise, an interested suitor will have to submit an offer for the player's services, however, the club could opt to release Mbekile altogether.

Head Coach Pitso Mosimane previously confirmed to the media that the club could be set to release more players in the coming days, as to avoid an unhappy camp of players who are not getting the needed game-time.
