After doing some digging, though, the Siya crew can report that the Slovakian club did agree to release the player for free, and – as reported in this week's issue of Soccer Laduma – he signed a two-and-a-half year deal with Gavin Hunt's side. Speaking to the crew about his move recently, 'Scotty' said, "I've always wanted to play under Gavin Hunt. He is a winner and a no-nonsense type of coach, and I think that is why he has been successful in the teams he has coached. "I want to say a big thank you to Jose (Ferreira), Coach Gavin and the rest of the board for believing that I can be valuable to the team. And in the two days I trained at Wits, I felt like I had been a part of them for way longer. "That's the type of team Gavin has assembled. It felt more like a family. I'm super excited to start my new journey, and also we stand a good chance of competing for the championship… It's the only title I have not won yet in the PSL." Scott could make his debut against his former club, Ajax Cape Town, next month.
