Teko Modise is expected to put pen to paper on a new and improved contract in the coming weeks.
Modise, who joined up with Cape Town City at the beginning of the 2017/18 season, has experienced impressive form in his months with the Mother City-based club, with the team aware of the player's immense contribution both on and off the field.
Now, according to Siya sources in the know, City are looking to reward the player for his efforts by offering him a new and improved deal.

The 35-year-old's current contract will expire at the end of the 2018/19 season, with City keen to hold onto the player for even longer, contributing his last professional years to the club.
Modise experienced an illustrious few years with Mamelodi Sundowns, winning the league title, domestic cups and the CAF Champions League campaign.

However, the player has since turned over a new leaf and indications are that the experienced midfielder is relishing his time under Head Coach Benni McCarthy, eager to help the club to more silverware.
City, who were crowned 2016 Telkom Knockout champions in the inaugural season, are now on the way to try and challenge for another piece of domestic silverware, the Nedbank Cup trophy.
