SuperSport United Are Close To Signing Richard Kissi Boateng

SuperSport United are believed to be closing in on signing Richard Kissi Boateng, with the Ghanaian international having impressed during his time at the club. Read: Amakhosi 'Keeper Coach Passes Away The 28-year-old, who is a free agent after ending a short time with Liberty Professionals in Ghana, made his name at TP Mazembe after signing for the Congolese giants back in 2013, and it now looks as though he could be on his way to the Absa Premiership. According to Siya sources, with Onismor Bhasera (hip) and Thato Mokeke (bone fracture) both being sidelined for some time, Eric Tinkler sees Boateng as a player who can come in and battle it out with Keegan Ritchie on the left side of the defence. If the move does go through then Boateng would be the second foreign signing of the season for Matsatsantsa after they snapped up Azubuike Egwuekwe earlier this month.
