Ntshangase has made just one start and two substitute appearances and has been in matchday squads in seven of Gallants' DStv Premiership matches so far in their campaign with nine matches to go for the Limpopo outfit.
The 28-year-old has also not been part of the team's impressive Nedbank Cup run under Dan Malesela and indications from sources close to the club are that the former Kaizer Chiefs player could be allowed to move on at the end of the season.
Ntshangase joined Gallants in August, having finished the previous season without a club since parting ways with Chiefs in March.
Gallants' assistant coach Raymond Mdaka previously told the media that the absence of Ntshangase from the matchday squads could be due to competition for places in the team.
