It was in October last year when Pirates head coach Jose Riveiro confirmed that the Vaal-born star had made the voyage to train with the Premier League giants.
Since then, there hasn't been much feedback on the teenager's assessment with the club - but Mofokeng has returned to Pirates to great effect, where he has been able to pin down a regular spot in the starting XI.
He has made 20 appearances in all competitions so far this season.
The Siya crew recently caught up with Mofokeng who was part of the PSL and Multichoice's Player Transition Programme, which is in partnership with the GIBS Institution.
The 19-year-old spoke about his time in England, revealing that he is hopeful of a move.
"I'd say that there's not much of a difference [between our players and the English players]," he told journalists.
"In terms of feedback, I didn't get any as yet - but let's hope for the best. I don't think there's much of a difference between us as PSL players and the players at Wolves but I'm hoping for the best."
Mofokeng spent less than six months in the Pirates DStv Diski Challenge before being promoted to the club's first team, after he was signed from the School of Excellence.
