A talented young player is still in the plans of Orlando Pirates despite being seen making his official debut in the DStv Premiership with a different club this week.
After struggling to break into the line-ups and make the matchday squads at the Buccaneers under co-coaches Mandla Ncikazi and Fadlu Davids, young striker Katlego Cwinyane secured a loan move to Sekhukhune United for the remainder of the season.
Against Royal AM on Tuesday afternoon, the 22-year-old was handed a start in MacDonald Makhubedu's team and did fairly well for a debutant although his side lost 1-0 at Chatsworth Stadium.
"Kuruman (Cwinyane) will be going back to Pirates at the end of the season and is very much in the plans at the club. He is a talented youngster who did well in his development but has been allowed to go and gain experience at Sekhukhune United where he will have a better chance of competing for a place in the line-ups than at Pirates at this stage of his career. The boy made his debut for Sekhukhune yesterday against Royal AM and did well after being loaned to the club on the last day of the January transfer window," said the source.
