Orlando Pirates have continued clearing out their squad ahead of the 2025/26 campaign, and the Siya crew understands that more exits could be on the cards following the team’s return from preseason duty.
Among the latest changes, the Buccaneers have sanctioned the departures of Monnapule Saleng, Yanga Madiba, Thuso Moleleki, and Azola Tshobeni – with the list potentially growing longer in the coming days.

After months of speculation surrounding his future, Pirates finally confirmed that Saleng has joined newly promoted Orbit College FC on a season-long loan deal.
Furthermore, Madiba and have also been sent on loan to the Northern West-based outfit, with the idea of gaining topflight experience in a less pressured environment.
Meanwhile, Azola Tshobeni has completed a permanent move to Chippa United, as confirmed by his representatives from P Management Sports, ending a stop-start spell with the Buccaneers.
Following the Soweto giants’ return from their preseason training camp in Spain, new head coach Abdeslam Ouaddou is believed to be finalising his squad for the first half of the new season.
According to Siya sources, Ouaddou is not expected to work with more than 35 players in his squad as he looks to implement a more focused and competitive environment at the club.
This means that more players – particularly those on the fringes – could be loaned out, released, or placed on the transfer list before the close of the window.
