Word reaching the Siya crew is that the future of Phathutshedzo Nange is uncertain at SuperSport United. The midfielder arrived before the start of the current season after leaving Kaizer Chiefs at the end of last term, but has struggled for regular game time under Gavin Hunt at Matsatsantsa.
The 32-year-old, who signed a two-year deal with Matsatsantsa, has made 16 appearances in all competitions for the club. The player has made just two starts in the DStv Premiership.
Most of his starts have come in the CAF Confederation Cup, but with SuperSport now out of the continental club competition, Nange might not get so many more opportunities to feature.
Speaking to the Siya crew recently, Hunt revealed why the former Black Leopards and Bidvest Wits midfielder has struggled to play regularly at Matsatsantsa this season.
"He is a good professional, but his condition was bad because he didn't play (much). He was out for a long time and obviously he has just not cracked in the team."
The Siya crew has been informed that SuperSport will make a decision on the player's future before the end of the season and indications are that they could let him go to make room for players that they are looking to bring in next term.
