After making sure that Moroka Swallows' top flight status is secured, Musa Nyatama could finally get an opportunity to hold the honour of starting the new season as permanent coach at the club.
For the last two seasons, Nyatama has come in as a hero during the campaign to make sure that the Dube Birds don't go down to the Motsepe Foundation Championship.

In fact, before the start of this season, Nyatama was meant to start the campaign as head coach after the club confirmed that he would be given the role, but Steve Komphela was then appointed.
Following the departure of Komphela earlier this year, Nyatama was asked to take over again for the rest of the season and, despite the turmoil and some changes to the squad following the much publicized problems of player strikes at the club, he was able to guide them to safety.
Now, indications are that Swallows are planning on starting the new season with Nyatama in charge, possibly confirming him as permanent head coach.

It's believed that the club has been impressed with the work that he has been doing and they look set to give him an opportunity to work with the team from the beginning of the season and will be assisted by Ditheko Mototo, who was his right hand man after Komphela left.
