Polokwane City striker Thobani Mncwango is expected to join Absa Premiership champions BIdvest Wits, according to sources.

Mncwango had initially signed pre-contract with the Clever Boys earlier this month and was set to join them next season.
However, Siya sources have indicated that Rise and Shine have agreed to release him in the January transfer window and he is expected to join the Absa Premiership champions.
Denis Weidlich had also signed a pre-contract the Clever Boys before making the move this month from Maritzburg United.

Mncwango has only featured in two games across all competitions for Rise and Shine this season.
