News reaching the Siya crew is that Marumo Gallants look set to lose one of their key players who is understood to have penned a pre-contract elsewhere.
Now, with just under six months left in the campaign, it's believed Sekhukhune United have snapped up the player on a pre-contract for the 2022/23 season.
Timm has been one of Gallants' more consistent performers since he joined the club when it was previously known as Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila.
The 29-year-old former Maritzburg United player, who has also played in the USA in the past, is currently on 19 matches in all competitions for Gallants, which include the preliminary stage of the CAF Confederation Cup.
Sekhukhune, meanwhile, are believed to be already planning for next season, having started their rookie campaign well in the top flight. They are currently on 25 points after 17 matches and previously teams who reached the 30 point mark have been safe from relegation. They are a few points of that mark with 13 matches to go.
With midfielder Yusuf Maart linked with a move away from the side, Timm is a player who would fit into that role in the middle of the park.
