Insiders at the club added that Ozoemena is set to receive a senior team contract that will run until June 2029.

A source close to the club stated that the technical team and management have high hopes for the 19-year-old, believing he will significantly bolster the current squad.

"He is one of the youngsters who went with the team for pre-season training in Turkey and he impressed the coach. Whey they came back (Nasreddine) Nabi recommend that he should be registered with the first team. So, now the club has offered him a five-year contract which will run until June 2029. It's a good deal for a young promising player," the Siya source stated.

A second source stated that while Ozoemena should be part of the senior team, he will continue to play for the DDC side and then be called upon for the first team when needed.

"It's not that he will stop playing for the DDC side. He is still a Chiefs player and he can play where they want him to play at including the DDC team. You know the same was happening with Wandile Duba and Sabelo Radebe who are registered with the senior team but at times plays with the DDC team. That's how it will be at the moment," the second source stated.
